My name is Scott Bossart, I am a financial advisor that was fortunate to play the PGA tour and also have more than 15 years as a club professional. With that said, I have had the opportunity to be around the “leaders” of our industry from both the physical and mental sides of the game. There are so many people to seek out advice from in the world of golf and in business. To succeed in both, you need great focus, and above all the desire and balance in your life to succeed. Through Dr. Travis Fox, my goals have been more achievable and clear. We all want to get to the next level, so stop waisting time flipping and flopping between mentors, and start ticking and tocking with Dr. T! - Scott Bossart

Dr. Fox's "HyPerformance Relaxation" mental tools are nothing less than revolutionary, especially for those golfers whose swing is less than picture perfect. As a doctor of psychology, Fox has used his extensive knowledge of how the mind functions (and dysfunctions!) to create a radically new approach to golf instruction; however, unlike many of golf's so called "mental gurus," as a former competitive golfer, Fox not only talks the talk - but walks the walk as well. He knows the pressure of needing to make a three-foot putt on 18 just to make the cut, because he has lived it!

"After having Dr. Fox on our show, I couldn't wait to get the program and test it out for an upcoming tournament. I chose to listen to "Perfect Putting" because I had been struggling with consistence and making putts thereby allowing me to score. I had probably played three rounds of golf in the last two months so my total preparation for this tournament consisted of 1 practice round, 2 hours of hitting balls and putting, and listening to the "Perfect Putting" CD a total of 4 times. Not only did I putt extremely well (averaging 27 putts per round), but it translated into other facets of my game. For the first time in five years I was able to score in double digits under par in a tournament. For 54 holes I was 11-under-par and my final 9-holes of the tournament I shot 30 with 1 eagle and 4 birdies and finished 4th overall in the event. Believe me when I say, "it worked for me and it will work for you!

I have been playing golf for 42 years. I have taken many lessons, read all the books and studied all the swings. Dr Fox's approach to golf is new and refreshing. His method "frees up the mind" and "provides effortless power". It is so exciting see improvement in my students and myself without worrying about the mechanics of the golf swing. The ball actually goes in the direction we are looking with no cognitive thought. My only wish is that I had met Dr. Fox years ago. His method works; I see it in my students and myself every day. Thank you Dr. Fox, you have given me a better way to communicate and enjoy this wonderful game.

This sure works for me...great program!  I ordered your program Nov 12, 2007, since receiving the program my situation awareness (mental and course management) has greatly improved as did my ball striking and putting. Thus far, I feel so good about what is happening with my golf game I get antsy anticipating the next round.  Can't say enough good things about your program and what it has done for me, I know now I'm going to be a better golfer!
Many thanks.

After using the product for two weeks several things have happened which I must share with you and I think you will enjoy. (I was a 5 handicap and ballooned to a 15 after cutting my playing to once a week and practicing to zero.)

First, it finally dawned on me last night (after two weeks) why the second DVD addresses the fairway only. Well duhhhhhhhhhh, if he is teaching positive thinking why would he attempt to show us how to hit out of the woods or anywhere else but from the fairway!!!

Second, Iwould wake each morning and tell my wife what a waste of money this was as I remembered nothing each morning from the CDs while I was sleeping. When I got to work I walked around the office for days with a club in my hand saying tick tock like a grandfather clock. It is now the most famous saying amongst all my friends as all our conversations start this way.

Third, (and the big one) I have a turf mat in the house that I use to practice chipping with as I am in a room with an HDTV and all sorts of hi-tech equipment. I can take a full practice swing with a nine iron from the mat and not hit the ceiling or the overhead TV. well, thanks to Dr. Fox I put a ball down which I bought from Japan and couldn't wait to hit, I set up naturally his way and proceeded to tick tock like  a grandfather clock. Well two things happened: the ball made a great hole in my wall but  ricoched off and took out several of my collectable Mickey Mouse statues. I have never hit a ball so purely in almost five years. The topper was after hearing the explosion in my room my wife came in to see if I was hurt and saw what happened. The mat is now outside and we can only Beat the Bogey Man with plastic wiffle balls into pillows above our couch where the hole is.

Whoever is a nonbeliever of his methods should be directed to me for a lesson in the power of suggestion. Thanks to these CDs and DVDs I am now practicing on a regular basis and intend to go back to playing 3 days a week minimun and getting back to a five handicap again. As I live in NYC, we are entering winter but I now go to a heated range to hit balls and they just tick tock like a grandfather clock off the club faces. By the way, tell the good Dr. that I have changed my wedges to square grooves and stop balls at the range like crazy!! This was worth every penny and more for both the serious and recreational golfer. - E. Singer

My putting has improved significantly since Travis' workshop. I am now much more relaxed and focus just on rolling the ball where I want it. As a result my putting touch has improved. It has made the game more enjoyable. - Dave L.

Just wanted to say that I received the Beat the Bogey Man DVDs and CDs about 3 weeks ago after a month long wait. Well, it was very much worth that wait. I watched the DVDs and the instruction was simple and non-technical. I've played "too technical" for much too long, with my mind getting in the way of my natural ability. My instructor feels that my physical ability alone should have me playing to a low single digit handicap. Obviously, something other than the "physical" is or has been working against me. The DVDs made sense and reinforced my thought that I play my best when I play by "feel" rather than mechanical. I've listened to the CDs almost every night, alternating after 2-3 days. I haven't made it through one yet without falling asleep before it ends. I majored in Psych in college so I understand the concept of what you're teaching. It's been a concept I wish I would have applied to golf many years ago. I had one practice session after listening to the CDs and watching the DVDs and was amazed at how the "tic toc" and "I want to go there" self talk worked. I saw even better results on the practice green. I went out today and played 18 after not having touched a club for over 2 weeks since that initial practice after the CDs arrived. The first six holes I was 8 over, however, that was due to not having played or practiced for a few weeks. I stayed with the "tic toc" and "I want to go there" self talk and I played the final 12 holes in Even Par, missing two 5 foot putts along those 12 holes while making 3 Birdies. All total I shot 78 after 3 weeks of using the DVDs and mostly the CDs. I have set some goals for myself for the next season and am heading indoors shortly due to the weather for practice. One of those goals is to play in some of the Amateur events hosted by the Chicago District Golf Association. I plan on taking my handicap down to a 5, and currently play to a 13. With the help of Beat the Bogey Man I feel like meeting those goals are on my near horizon. I have the physical skills and fundamentals to play much better than 13 and WILL do so. I'll keep you updated on any significant scoring progress I make in those tournaments next year. I'm extremely confident about playing phenomenal golf in high level Amateur competition, thanks to beat the Bogey Man!

Hope to meet you in Chicago in one of the upcoming PGA tour events or LPGA, as I now keep a close eye on Mathias Gronberg and In Bee Park.

Sincerely,
Mark B.

Dr. T, you are awesome I truly enjoyed meeting you and have had lots of fun telling people about you. As I told you I don't compete as much any more but will again some day, true story after listening to your CD on putting, twice , I can not explain what has happened to me but it is great. All of the sudden I am so focused and feel like I am not trying and the ball is going in a lot more. Example: first 18 after putting cd 2 under twelve more holes on a delayed round 6 under. (wow!) still putting good! - Jon L.

Just as an aside, when we met Dr. Fox at Highlands Sam had just gotten home from not making the cut at the Future Masters. So I think he was open to listening to Dr. Fox's coaching. He had not played another tournament until this week when he played the RTJ Oxmoor Valley. He came in 2nd out of 38 in his age group shooting 141 missing 1st by one stroke. - Kathy L.

I've had the 8 disc set for a little more than two weeks and haven't missed a night without falling asleep with the cd\'s. Almost immediately my game improved. I did have two rounds in a row where I was close to even par going into hole 17 and closedwith triple/triple to ruin my score but I knew I was close. This past Saturday (7-7-07) I was even-par going into hole 16 and finished bogey/par/bogey for a 74, my lowest score! There's still plenty room for improvement and the "Beat the Bogey Man" is going to help me get there. Just wanted to say THANKS! - Mark C.

Initially I didn't see significant results, and put the DVD/CD aside. Recently, frustrated at still being a mid-30s handicapper (to quote Ray Romano: "I'm totally addicted to a game I suck at..."), I viewed the DVD again. The last two times I played (I play at least once a week) my putting improved significantly. I attribute that in great part to your DVD and "tic-toc" method. I still need a lot of work, but now I'm enthused and feeling a bit more confident. I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the other three DVD/CDs in the series - Steven B.

I recently used the beat the bogey man techniques and I took my game to the next level. I had one lesson with Dr Fox and my mental approach changed. I recently won the match- play club championship after I demolished my opponent 8 & 6. He didn't have a prayer with my new mental game and he still talks about it to this day. I continued to roll in putt after putt and Doug just couldn't take it anymore and didn't even want to finish. I just wanted to say thanks to Dr Fox and look forward to the future. - Tim O.

I think of myself as a pretty decent low handicap player. Thus, it was with complete, total, absolute doubt and apprehension, I went to the practice green to try your husband's putting suggestion as to stance width and stroke length. Well, damned if it doesn't work! Why or how without watching the putter head during the backstroke I can't comprehend but the results were definitive. Then, just for giggles, I showed the technique to a couple of complete strangers who, from my observations, were possibly two of the worst putters I've ever seen. Literally within minutes both were rolling almost every putt within a foot or less of the cup no matter the putt length and one guy began making a whole bunch of putts. Possibly the weirdest thing I may have ever seen on a putting green. I'm gong to use it the next time I play. - Jim M.

Having been a golf instructor for over 20 years and having had the pleasure of watching Ken Venturi work with the best players in the world, I thought I had seen all there is in golf instruction. However, a number of months ago I had the mind blowing experience of a lifetime when I met Dr. Travis Fox and found out what I did not know about golf instruction, how to control your mind. I had investigated other sports psychologists and implemented various odds and ends to my instruction. After spending numerous hours with Dr. Fox, I was completely transformed into a believer. Having personally observed his technique and delivery, not to mention his passion and attention to the student, I had the opportunity for him to apply his work on me. It not only greatly helped my game, but it revitalized my own personal passion for teaching. Having talked with him, studied his CDs and tapes, I am firmly convinced students are going to get better and better in a hurry and the best newsis, it is simple and works for any level of player. I feel like I am a complete teacher now and can offer students a complete instruction package. Thank you Dr. Fox - Scott S.

Just to give you an update: I beat my last match play opponent 8 & 6. I used some of the techniques and was really relaxed out there. I was 2 under after 9 holes and didn't even putt out 2 of my birdie putts, and I am in the Semi finals right now! - Tim O
