| Do the eyes lie? |
According to Dr. Fox it comes down to how we access information, by pictures, sounds or feelings. If it's visual your eyes shift up, auditory side to side, or kinesthetic you look down.
Then you're going to break it down into left and right. So, as the eyes go to the left they tend to be constructing, which gives you an indicator that something is going on, because if someone moves like that their eyes naturally move one way or the other. It happens automatically.
This is a good lesson in rapport. It is much easier to build rapport with someone when you understand how they access information.
